Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are seeking a positive and proactive teacher for a Y4–5 classroom. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated teacher, who has a passion for education and a commitment to engaging learners.

The potential for leadership also exists with the possibility of a fixed term management unit available in certain areas dependent on skills and experience - particularly P.E.

Key responsibilities

Implement and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum .
Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their academic and social development.
Collaborate with parents, staff and the wider school community.

Requirements

Fully registered or provisionally registered teacher with a current NZ work visa.

Proven leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
