Join NERA's Auckland office as a Graduate Economist in Antitrust and Competition.
This role focuses on providing rigorous, data-driven analysis for high-stakes legal and regulatory proceedings across New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
Responsibilities
Analyze a wide range of data.
Design, build, and apply quantitative models and econometric analysis.
Collect market, industry and company information.
Review, summarize and apply relevant economic literature.
Manage large data sets and write programs to implement complex analysis.
Draft memos and contribute to presentations, reports and expert evidence.
Participate in team and client meetings and conference calls.
Qualifications
Working towards a postgraduate degree in Economics, Economics with Finance or a related discipline, with evidence of high academic achievement.
Strong interest in quantitative analysis and applied microeconomics.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication; ability to think independently.
