OverviewTeacher in Charge – English Literacy (1MU + 1MMA) and Teacher in Charge – Senior English (1MU + 1MMA).

We are seeking two outstanding leaders to join our English Faculty in permanent, full-time roles commencing Term 1, 2026.

You will value knowledge-rich approaches and pedagogy informed by cognitive science and demonstrate the ability to foster professional growth across the team, both individually and collectively.RolesTeacher in Charge – English Literacy This role leads literacy initiatives across the English Faculty, including oversight of our Junior English Literacy Acceleration programme and Senior English Literacy courses.

You will champion literacy development, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals and student needs.Teacher in Charge – Senior English This role leads our Level 2 and Level 3 English programmes, with a focus on securing high academic achievement across Years 12 and 13.

You will support the delivery of Scholarship English, English Extension, and English Literacy pathways.English Pathways and CurriculumWe offer a range of English pathways, including Scholarship English, English Extension, and English Literacy.

The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1900 students with 170 teaching and support staff combined.Terms and SalaryThe terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement.

The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant\'s qualifications and experience.

An individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
