Psychiatrist – Adult General & Inpatient

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our adult general and inpatient services in Christchurch.

About You

As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will work within our Adult General and Inpatient Service as part of our integrated system. You will provide input for new admissions and ongoing care, working within multidisciplinary teams.

We are interested in Psychiatrists with experience in adult mental health, including inpatient, community and psychiatric emergency services.

You will use your specialist knowledge to deliver innovative acute and long‑term care that meets individual needs, and you will lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of client‑centred frameworks.

To be considered, you must be eligible to gain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
