This is a permanent, full-time position for a composite Y5-8 class, with a permanent unit for leadership, for 2026 and beyond.We are a small, rural school with a big heart.

We are a dedicated and supportive team that values professional growth and well-being.The ideal candidate will : Have an understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, particularly for Y5-8.Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices for a composite classroom.Be a skilled practitioner of assessment for learning, using data to inform teaching and learning.Have a proven track record of building positive and respectful relationships with students, colleagues, and whanau.Be committed to cultural responsiveness and inclusive practices.Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.Be able to support and uphold the Catholic special character of our school.
