"HCLTech New Zealand / Australia is hiring an experienced SAP BTP BPA Automation Consultant. Work Visa Sponsorship : Available for eligible candidates outside New Zealand."

Mode of Employment : Full-time

Key Responsibilities :

Design and build automation workflows using SAP BTP (Build Process Automation).

Re-implement automations from other platforms (e.g., UiPath) into SAP BPA.

Integrate SAP Document Information Extraction (DI) and AI Core for intelligent document processing.

Develop alerting workflows for compliance and risk monitoring.

Create dashboards, apps, and workflows using SAP Build Apps and Work Zone.

Collaborate with business analysts, sustainability teams, and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration) and ensure quality of automation solutions.

Document technical specifications, process flows, and best practices.

Provide ongoing support and enhancements for deployed automation solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

3–8 years of experience in SAP BTP and BPA (Build Process Automation).

Strong knowledge of SAP iRPA / RPA tools and automation frameworks.

Experience with APIs, OData, REST, SOAP, GUI scripting, and BAPI.

Hands-on experience with SAP AI Core, Document Information Extraction, and sentiment analysis.

Familiarity with ESG metrics and automation for compliance reporting (preferred).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

SAP BTP or BPA certification.

Experience in cloud-native development and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and event-driven architecture.
