We're a down-to-earth team that backs each other to deliver quality design, practical solutions and great client outcomes.The opportunityWe're looking for an Intermediate or Senior Structural Technician to join our Wellington office and play a key role in shaping smart, buildable designs.What you'll doProvide structural engineering input from concept through to construction for new builds, refurbishments and strengthening projects.Engage with clients, architects, and contractors; working collaboratively and communicating effectively.Complete site measures and site investigations.Respond to RFIs and undertake construction monitoring inspections.Contribute to continuous improvement of our tools, templates, and standard details.What you'll bringMinimum 5 years' NZ consulting experience delivering building structures across commercial, residential, education, health or industrial sectors.Strong working knowledge of the NZ Building Code and relevant standards and design guides (in particular NZS

Proficiency with Revit draughting software and coordination in BIM environments.Clear, confident communication and a collaborative, "dive-in" work ethic.Nice to haveNZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil), or equivalent qualification.Experience in detailing structure for residential projects.Experience in civil engineering projects (drainage, earthworks, retaining structures).
