Hinds School is a Year 1-8 rural primary school with most students living rurally and traveling by bus to school.

The school has a roll of 170 children who are excited to come to school everyday.

There are 8 classrooms.

Hinds School is located 15 minutes south of Ashburton, off the main highway.

Integrate te reo Maori and tikanga Maori naturally into daily learning

Have strong curriculum knowledge and a reflective teaching practice

Demonstrate commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and have a genuine passion for Te reo Maori me ona tikanga
