Technician - Dispatch Centre

Hill Labs is one of the largest commercial laboratories in New Zealand.

We have a great opportunity to join our Dispatch team in a permanent role, based in Christchurch.

This role offers you excellent variety and is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9 : 00 am – 5 : 30 pm.

Candidates with experience in logistics and dispatch are preferred, however full training will be given.

Key Focus

Liaising with our courier service, customers and Client Services Managers

Receiving / storing inwards goods

Monitoring stock levels / restocking when required

Collecting samples from key clients as a part of our in-house courier service

Preparing complex sampling kits for delivery / customer collection

Please note : Some lifting is required in this role.

Ideal Candidate

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to think on your feet, multitask and prioritise a range of different tasks and deadlines

Great communication skills, verbally and written

Ability to learn new processes quickly

Strong focus on customer service

Ability to work within a small team, but also autonomously

Basic Word & Excel skills

Must have a Restricted or Full NZ Drivers License
