Haka House is looking for a General Manager to oversee the operations of both Haka House Lake Tekapo and 25 Degrees Lake Tekapo . This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lake Tekapo, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment and wants to lead from the heart of the action.

You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading high‑performing teams, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences across both the hostel and restaurant.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Leading and supporting site managers across both businesses
• Driving financial performance, budgeting, and cost control
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety, and brand standards
• Creating a seamless guest experience across both sites
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
• Acting as the key liaison between Lake Tekapo sites and the wider Haka House team
