Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is a large family-owned South Island business with an extensive work base and clientele in South Canterbury. We have been around Canterbury for over 49 years and have become a trusted, progressive brand in the civil construction industry.

With the new season upon us and a good pipeline of projects we are currently recruiting for a permanent Supervisor to join our Timaru construction team.

A Civil Supervisor with Rooney Earthmoving Ltd who works along-side his / her team doing what’s required to produce outcomes. They will have attributes that include :

Skilled on a range of civil construction earthmoving machines and equipment.

Capable of running a team of guys with a fleet of equipment.

Understand the civil construction process including reading plans and following survey.

Skilled at health and safety practices including knowing how to keep a team safe.

Someone positive leader who gets in and helps the team get results.

Professional in the face of the client and other stakeholders.
