OverviewNational University of Singapore – Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS) seeks a Research Associate to support the Law and Governance Program.

The Asia Centre for Health Security is a recently established academic think tank that aims to promote and strengthen health security in Asia.Job DescriptionResearch Associate (Law and Governance, Biosecurity and Global Health)The RA will support work on law and governance aspects of biosecurity, public and global health, with a focus on Asia.

The candidate will be expected to carry out research, write reports and publications, and support the ongoing work of the program, including events.

The RA will work independently under the supervision of A / Prof Ayelet Berman and in interaction with other Centre members.ResponsibilitiesCarry out research related to law and governance in biosecurity, public health, and global health with a focus on Asia.Write reports and publications; contribute to program outputs and events.Work independently under supervision and collaborate with Centre members and stakeholders.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in law and a master's degree in biosecurity, public health, global health, or related fields.Knowledge / experience in law and biosecurity / public health / global health.Outstanding research skills.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to work with English-speaking stakeholders from local, regional, and international backgrounds.Independent, reliable, well-organized, meticulous attention to detail, and focused.Keen interest in advancing health security in Asia.The grade of appointment will be accorded based on qualifications and work experience.Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
