About The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assurance Manager to join our Operations team.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a permanent role based in Tauranga.RequiredOur Operations Assurance team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) Operations team, responsible for managing client records to ensure that all Account approval, Private Asset Management (PAM) and Discretionary Investment Management Service (DIMS) accounts meet CIP's best practice standards and any NZX Participant Rules, legislation, and licence obligations.

The Operations Assurance Manager has a focus on providing the best possible outcomes for clients, driving continuous improvement of business processes to improve operating efficiency, and ensuring internal controls and processes are in place and are monitored effectively to manage risk.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role is also required to : Ensure that efficient systems and processes are in place to accurately maintain client recordsEnsure processes are compliant with legislation and regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and the Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML / CFT)Understand the requirements of NZX rules, legislation, and licence obligations, and ensure that controls are in place to ensure all documentation provided meets these requirementsManage the review and remediation required of annual reports to ensure files are completed on time and in line with legislative requirementsEnsure high performance and development of the team through coaching, reviewing development goals, ensuring consistent cross-training, and other leadership activities as required.About YouWe are ideally looking for someone with a financial services or compliance background and prior leadership experience.

This role will suit a leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment in a collaborative team.
