- Join us as Laboratory Technician in Bay of Plenty
- You will be responsible for carrying out testing on aggregates, soil and with working with our asphalt laying crews performing quality control testing in the field. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety, as this role involves lab, field testing and physical work. Flexibility is a must, as due to the varied nature of our laboratory activities this role is predominantly night shift – night shift rates apply.
- In addition to the above you will :
- Ensure equipment checks are completed before equipment is used and maintenance is completed when necessary.
- Remain up to date with current pavement design, pavement delivery and pavement product technologies.
- Ensure the continuation of IANZ requirements.

- A good work ethic and willingness to get the job done.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit, particularly Word, Excel and Office.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Good level of physical fitness with the ability to lift 25kg samples.
- Full NZ Class 1 licence.
