Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Physiotherapist to support the growth of our Ashburton clinic.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours with flexibility.

You will build on the work of our current physiotherapist, working as the sole physio alongside the local Occupational Therapist to expand and develop services.

You will work independently yet remain part of the broader Canterbury MDT, supported by our national team under ACC contracts.

The clinic is ideally located below a busy medical centre, next to a pharmacy and radiology.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-focused rehabilitation, impacting clients' lives through compassionate care.
  • Manage a caseload that may include Med Fees, Pain Management, ICP, Training for Independence, Early Intervention, VRS, SRNA, and Concussion services, as your skills allow.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team and access guidance from our National Network of rehabilitation professionals.
  • Contribute to the growth of a friendly, social team of about 20 employees across Canterbury.
  • Lead and grow your clinical experience in a supportive community setting.
  • Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a current practising certificate in New Zealand.
  • Indemnity Insurance and a clean New Zealand full driver's licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (ACC contract experience advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, excellent clinical skills, and a self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude to build a caseload and community connections.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills; commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
