Whangaparāoa College is located 35 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast. The College has outstanding facilities, a committed and talented staff, and a focus on personal excellence and learner achievement.

We seek an enthusiastic educator to teach in our well-resourced Social Science Faculty, commencing at the start of term 1, 2026. Working with a supportive Head of Learning, could suit either a beginning teacher or someone returning to the profession. You will work with a dedicated and supportive team who will share your commitment to learner engagement and achievement, as well as your passion for social science and literacy. You will be well supported through the current curriculum changes and encouraged in your own professional growth through our school\'s Professional Learning and Development programme, and with strong support for external opportunities.

This is an exciting time to join our college as we respond to our recent curriculum review, embedding school-wide approaches to raising literacy, culturally responsive pedagogy and enhancing mana ōrite mō te Mātauranga Māori.
