The opportunity

A Senior Copywriter at Greenhouse New Zealand partners and collaborates with an Art Director to create impactful, modern creative solutions - ideas that are effective, strategic, agnostic and transformative for our clients' business.

With a strong understanding of strategy, the Senior Copywriter is responsible for creative work that answers the assigned brief in a unique, engaging way and effective way.

They need to be able to understand and reflect different brands\' tone of voice and show writing craft across all creative solutions, as well as act as a guide and inspiration to more junior members of the creative department.

The Senior Copywriter will develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders, as well as clients and external production partners, taking a client-facing Lead role on key clients within their remit.

Your snapshot of what you\'ll do

Gain a deep understanding of their Clients' business at an operational level

Responsible for the creation of advertising ideas across all media, in partnership with the Senior Art Director

Responsible for establishing creative direction across key client projects, adapting strategic insights from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts

Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure a high-quality output, and be comfortable stepping up to creative lead responsibilities when required

Manage integrated campaign productions, including shoots, editing and post-production

Ensure there are high levels of craft across visuals and layout design, and contribute to material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video and sound

Marks off against all levels of Client contact, developing a strong, trusted and respectful relationship with each Client

Lead key creative meetings with clients, ensuring the creative view is well presented, playing a leadership role, along with Creative Directors, Account Leads, Strategy Directors in the presentation of creative and strategic work

Your ideal experience

At least 5 years in a Copywriter / Conceptual Creative role

Expert knowledge of advertising principles and understanding of advertising channels : TV, radio, print, social, sponsorships and other emerging media

Proven ability to demonstrate brand tone of voice

Creative thinker, able to create stunning content against tight deadlines if required; able to brief others to do the same and manage to ensure outcome of a high standard

Demonstrated experience and passion for ideas that don\'t just end up in social media, but begin there

A 360 approach to creativity where ideas are not defined, constrained by media

Professional knowledge of relevant software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
