Fashion Graphic Designer – CHILDRENSWEAR
We’re seeking an experienced Childrenswear Apparel Graphic Designer to join the Farmers Merchandise team. In this role, you will work closely with our Buying Teams to interpret design briefs, provide original on-trend graphic assets across a wide range of product and create compelling presentation boards aligned with our brand identities. You will also ensure that all artwork is accurate and production-ready.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities :
- 6-8 years’ apparel graphic design experience, with significant experience in Childrenswear. Infantswear experience would also be beneficial.
- Expert skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. The use of Procreate and knowledge of AI Tools is beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead the development of graphics, placement prints, yardages, and full presentation storyboardsacross multiple product categories.
- Strong understanding of print techniques, fabric applications, colour standards, and manufacturing constraints.
- Understanding of apparel manufacturing processes with extensive experience producing technical CADs, detailed spec packs, and production-ready artwork with accurate callouts.
- Ability to ensure all artwork aligns with brand identity, while pushing trend-forward creative solutions.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, think creatively, and consistently meet deadlines. Time management and workflow prioritisation is key.
- Strong visual research capabilities, confident in working with trend platforms, overseas market research, and internal analytics.
- Awareness of copyright, IP, and licensing requirements, especially for childrenswear.
