Senior Neuro Physio - Maternity Leave Cover

On the Go Physio is a leading provider of neurological physiotherapy in Otautahi Christchurch.

Our clients are motivated and usually privately funding with clear goals.

This means no external approvals or reporting - just truly client based physio!

We work primarily out of our modern clinic, with some community visits.

We utilise a spacious private gym within our clinic, FES modalities including an FES bike and have experienced physiotherapy assistants.

Our clients come from a variety of referral sources including self referral and neurologist referral.

We operate with a strong word of mouth reputation and great relationships with local colleagues.

This role is a 9 month maternity cover starting mid-January

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years exclusive neurological experience, or minimum 5 years experience that includes at least 50% neurological work.

Applicants must have experience working in Aotearoa New Zealand or an equivalent standard healthcare system.

This role includes working with clients with a range of neurological conditions including Parkinson's, MS, stroke, FND, Ataxia and applicants must be experienced in these conditions.

Please note this is a senior position and supervision and upskilling can not be provided within our team, although external supervision will be funded.The hours for this role can be flexible from

If requiring 40 hours per week you may be expected to see some non-neuro presentations such as older adults with decreased balance or general rehabilitation needs.Our team is close-knit, family focused and work in a person centered way - valuing our staff and clients highly.As the business continues to grow there is the potential of ongoing work following the end of this maternity cover.This role will remain open until filled, however will close as soon as the right person is found.Please ensure you include your CV and a cover email in your application.
