Mt White Station is a 40,000-hectare high country station in the heart of the Southern Alps.
We are looking for a hands-on, creative, and adaptable person to join our tourism team as Marketing Coordinator.
This is a live-in role with accommodation provided, meal allowance, and the opportunity to be part of our station community.The role : Create and manage engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, aligned with Mt White Station's brand and valuesKeep our WIX website up to date with fresh, accurate contentImplement basic SEO strategies and track results to improve visibility and bookingsManage guest communications from enquiries and pre-arrival information through to post-visit follow-up, ensuring a personal and welcoming approachDevelop and maintain a social media and event marketing calendar to plan, track, and adapt campaigns, ensuring consistent visibility year-roundPlay an active role in tourism operations, including housekeeping, food prep, hosting guests and partners, and transporting luggage and guestsWhat we're looking for : Background in marketing (study or relevant work experience)Strong social media and digital communication skillsConfident writer with a personable style – guest emails should never feel genericComfortable hosting and sharing the Mt White Station story in a friendly, professional wayOrganised, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectivelyPractical and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute across the whole stationFull manual driver's licence – must be confident driving a manual 4WD on backcountry roadsCurrent NZ work rightsA knowledge of farming, or an interest in high country landscapes, or rural tourism is an advantageWhat we offer : $29 per hour20 hours per week (with potential for more for the right person)On-site accommodation providedWeekly meal allowanceA rare opportunity to live and work in one of New Zealand's most iconic high country stationsBe part of a supportive, close-knit team with future growth potential in our tourism pillarA chance to help drive the growth and direction of a developing tourism operationWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
