Reimagine the future of health together with us at OverviewThe candidate will determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems, and develop improvement recommendations.

The candidate will take ownership for important and complex projects and be involved in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of IT across the healthcare sector.

You will contribute to overall organisational IT strategy and present feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.

The candidate will need to synthesise diverse needs and perspectives of multiple organisations and be able to put forth original and fresh ideas, solutions, and recommendations.

The candidate will need to use superior leadership and communication abilities to influence key stakeholders.Role & ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture StrategyDevelop overall architectures to support IT strategyDevelop roadmaps to transition from current state to future state architectureProvide high-level directions that enable mission critical systems to operate safely as well as provide flexibility and speed for innovationGain support from management and stakeholders and communicate these architectures to the organisation at multiple levels to bring about alignmentImplement Enterprise Architecture RoadmapOptimise the portfolio of systems and programmes to evaluate their relevance to the architecture roadmapGuide the transition of practices and processes to enable delivery of appropriate solutionsProvide guidance to programmes in the portfolio to ensure that the architecture is realisedInfluence business stakeholders to align priorities, resources, and budgets to realise the architecture roadmapBuild strong partnerships with business and IT stakeholders to co-create and co-own the architecture goalsSet Standards and Provide Architecture GovernanceOptimise the architecture governance frameworkDevelop forward-looking policies, standards and guidelines that continue to be relevant for cloud native technologies, artificial intelligence, IOT and stringent security requirementsSupport solution and architecture review forumsManagement of Enterprise Architecture FunctionProvide department management, including budgeting, funding, demand management and staffingDevelop team members through ongoing coaching, mentoring, career discussion and assignments to stretch their capabilities.

Continually re-examine baseline training and onboarding requirementsDefine common goals, direction, and accountability among staff.

Drive effective performance management practicesQualificationsAt least 7 years of experience as an architect.
