Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Directorate,Permanent, full time (1.0FTE) role working 40 hours per week between Mondays and FridaysHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleJoin our Patient Safety, Quality Improvement & Risk Directorate as a Controlled Document Administrator, where youll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Te Tai Tokeraus document repository.

Youll ensure all controlled documents align with our Organisations Document Management Policies by overseeing their development, publication, distribution, and storage according to best practices.In this role, you will also provide user education and support, helping teams navigate our document systems efficiently.

Additionally, youll contribute to various project support activities as needed by the Directorate.The Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Directorate (PSQID) has organisational oversight and works with services to identify risks and guide quality improvements to improve patient safety.

This team ensures that the quality assurance and safety of patient care is measured, reported and monitored adequately so that problems are identified early and impacts of quality improvement activities are known.For more information on living and working in Northland click hereAbout youThe successful candidate will have advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and have a strong working knowledge of database technology.

You will need to be highly self-motivated, capable of working independently while effectively prioritising and managing workload to meet deadlines.NCEA level 3 qualification, or equivalentCertificate or degree program related to office administrationExperience in delivering education and training programmesExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of peoplePrevious experience in creating and presenting reportsAlthough not essential to apply, ideally you will bring prior experience working in a healthcare environment and hold a qualification in document control management.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
