  • We have an opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to support the Infrastructure & Facilities Portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone motivated to drive change and work flexibly across a large, complex organisation.You will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to support the successful delivery of projects, programmes, and the wider portfolio.

You will provide high-quality strategic advice and ensure robust investment management controls and governance processes are in place and adhered to.The Infrastructure & Facilities Portfolio provides stewardship over our asset management performance, ensuring our physical assets are well maintained, fit for purpose, and aligned with the Department's strategy, Hokai Rangi.

This role will also contribute to cross-portfolio collaboration with Digitally Enabled Business, Health and Safety, Services, and People to help achieve strategic priorities.

  • You will be a confident communicator and relationship builder, engaging with programmes and projects to develop documentation that reports progress, risks, escalations, and opportunities at a portfolio level.
  • You'll enjoy working with subject matter experts, Programme and Project Managers, and providing support, coaching, and advice on PMO requirements.This role suits someone with P3M3 expertise who brings pragmatic, collaborative support.

    You'll be comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, applying strong analytical skills and sound judgement to turn detailed information into meaningful insights.

    You'll be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and focused on delivering value.

  • Experience in portfolio, programme, or project management environments
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Understanding of PMO frameworks and risk disciplines

  • The midpoint of the salary range is $98,888 and the full range (85%-120%) is $84,055 - $118,666 per annum.
  • Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
