We have a number of clients within the health and social services sector who are regularly on the lookout for Level 4 qualified Support Workers to fill temp / casual shifts , preferably support workers with a background in mental health.

This role is casual temporary on an 'as required' basis to help the various facilities cover annual, sick leave or busy periods.

These casual roles are based in Central and North Shore and West Auckland.

Minimum Requirements :

Health and Well being Level 4 qualification
Current workplace first aid or in process of obtaining this
Current full driver's license
NZ citizen / residency or valid NZ work visa
Ability to travel to various locations in Auckland
Available to pick up casual shifts on an 'as needed' basis

To be successful you will ideally have :

High level of emotional intelligence and common sense

Ability to self-motivate and work well with your team

Good health and physical fitness

Experience working with a variety of clients / patients in a health setting

Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment

Knowledge and awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace

Good phone manner and ability to cover basic admin tasks and reporting
