Phd Nursing Lecturer

Mo Tenei Turanga Mahi | About the Role The PhD Nursing Lecturer is a part time 0.6FTE permanent position to join our Postgraduate Nursing Programme.

This role involves teaching, supervising Master's students, mentoring emerging researchers, and contributing to curriculum development and research outputs.

You will play a key role in shaping nursing education and supporting student success through innovative teaching and learning strategies, including online delivery.

The appointing salary for this role will be as per the TEU Academic Collective Employment Agreement and is negotiable, based on clinical experience and academic qualifications.

The Nursing Lecturer is based in our School of Nursing at Taradale, Hawke's Bay , reporting to the Head of School / Assistant Head of School – Nursing , and will be responsible for : Teaching and supervising postgraduate nursing students.

Developing and delivering course content and learning objectives.

Contributing to curriculum development and online learning resources.

Engaging in research and scholarly activities.

Promoting and marketing postgraduate nursing programmes.

He korero mou | About you To be successful in this role you will have : Current registration as a Registered Nurse in NZ (essential).

PhD qualification (essential).

Extensive nursing practice experience.

Highly developed oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of cultural safety and Matauranga Maori knowledge.

Tertiary teaching experience (desired).
