Client Service Manager - Healthcare

Overview

The Florence Nightingale Agency has been in business since 1997. Our team of office staff and support workers provide home‑based support to help people live the way they want to, in the home and in the community. Our company is based on providing quality services and supports in efficient, friendly and proactive ways.

We are seeking a new Client Services Manager to have overall responsibility for the delivery of services to these clients and meeting contractual obligations of the business.

This role is based in Dunedin but will be responsible for :

• Otago and Southland (includes travel to the Invercargill region minimum of one week per month)

Responsibilities

Day to day, the CSM might be out visiting a funder, calling someone after an incident, meeting a client, completing an individualised support plan with a new client, answering calls, and working with coordination teams to ensure the clients have the right support workers to provide their supports.

The CSM will also focus on business development, work closely with the clinical and recruitment teams and potentially attend career expos.

The CSM has a mixed role of supporting the coordinators with rostering, scheduling, following up with support workers on shift as well as networking, managing incidents / accidents, assisting our audit team to meet contract requirements, developing business in the region to encourage growth and being the local face for funders and other agencies in the community.

Additionally, the CSM supports and connects with our most complex clients – ensuring they are safe, getting what they need – and assists our Flexible Support service by completing initial client visits with disabled people we support. The team are responsible for empowering disabled people and their families to have more say in the type of care received and how it is delivered, hosting their budgets in line with the ministry's purchasing guidelines to promote the principals of enabling good lives.

This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
