Sales Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercial Sales Manager to join a New Zealand owned growing company with a fantastic culture.

The Sales Manager for this premium apparel brand will be responsible for managing the company’s sales strategies and initiatives, as well as leading the sales team to meet the business forecasts. Within this role you will work alongside an amazing team, in a creative environment to help bring our products to the world.

This role is for an experienced sales superstar that is strategic, driven and passionate. You will be a commercially led sales leader and have a strong grasp of the numbers and have responsibility for forecasting as well as sales numbers.

As the Sales Manager, you will play an important role in identifying premium business opportunities, managing key accounts and expanding their brand presence in New Zealand and Australia. This is a chance to take ownership of the trans-Tasman growth.

You will lead the companies medium and long term sales strategies to align with the businesses two brands and goals to really drive company growth. The ideal candidate will be confident with the ability to build strong relationships and have a true passion for the retail space. There is plenty of scope to really make this role your own, and bring your own ideas and experience to the role. It is essential that you have sound understanding of retail landscape and the product lifecycle. This role will have three direct reports in the New Zealand team, and lead five agents in Australia.

This company is based on the North Shore and offers some flexibility for the right person. There is also the opportunity for this role to be 35 hours a week and involves biyearly travel to Australia.
