Purchasing Administrator

TMC Trailers are heavy transport engineers specializing in the manufacture, repairs and servicing of custom made truck trailers and bodies. One of the pioneers of trailer manufacturing in New Zealand we have manufactured over 4500 trailers since our inception in 1948. We have 3x Sites nationwide and are a major player in the New Zealand road transport industry.

We’re looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our close knit team in our Christchurch manufacturing facility. Note that this role will start in January 2026.

About the Role

This role is focused supporting our manufacturing team by ensuring that all required items are purchased and supplied on time.

Key Duties

• Processing new truck / trailer jobs and purchasing all required materials based on a BOM
• Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing of parts, status of current orders and any other information that is required for the purchasing of materials
• Maintaining part / vendor information in the ERP system
• Ordering inventory materials based on MRP reporting
