Hon Matt Doocey MP is looking for an MP Support Coordinator to join their team in the Waimakariri electorate office for 40 hours per week. You’ll be supporting constituents to engage with their elected representatives and helping your MP to connect with the community.
What you will bring to the role | Tō kete
Your previous experiences in customer service will be nothing short of excellent. You’ll be comfortable working with people across the community and be able to do this while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
You’ll be highly organised and love working within a collaborative team.
As an employee of Parliamentary Service, you will be politically impartial in your role. An awareness of the political landscape may be beneficial in supporting your MP.

The pay band for the role starts at $69,630 per annum and appointments will be based on skills and experience. All employees who work for MPs are employed on an ‘events-based’ agreement, with your employment linked to your MP. This role is based in the Waimakariri electorate office for 40 hours per week, The intended start date for the role is January 2026.
