Are you passionate about uncovering insights that drive real change? We’re looking for a Fraud Insights and Analytics Specialist to join our Fraud Prevention team and help shape the future of fraud prevention and detection at IAG. This role is all about turning data into action, providing meaningful insights, identifying trends, and influencing business decisions that improve fraud prevention across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, investigators, and external partners to deliver monthly reporting, support data requests, and contribute to strategic initiatives. With a major fraud analytics platform overhaul underway, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we use data to detect and prevent fraud in a modern, AI‑aware environment.

This is a permanent, hybrid role open to candidates anywhere in Aotearoa (New Zealand).

About You

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Proven analytical capability
• A solution‑focused mindset with the ability to problem‑solve creatively
• Excellent written communication skills, including reporting and storytelling with data
• Proficiency in SQL and Google Data Platform, and experience working with large datasets
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau and / or other data visualisation tools
• A curious, proactive approach and the confidence to take initiative
