It's late in the year but a great opportunity has come up at our kura!

We are seeking a knowledgeable, experienced teacher and leader to join our senior team at Newlands Primary School.

This is a fantastic chance to become part of our dedicated and skilled leadership team who live our vision every day, placing the needs of our tamariki at the heart of all we do.

If you have proven leadership capabilities, are a committed, caring, and highly effective classroom teacher and can support others to be reflective in their practice - then we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have sound curriculum knowledge, and strengths in using a wide range of strategies to support diverse learners. Strengths in literacy and numeracy are essential, as is being a reflective teacher who is committed to strengthening their own learning and the learning of others.

This position is permanent and commences term 1, 2026. Two permanent units are available along with leadership release time. Based on the candidates strengths there is also the possibility of another fixed term unit for specific curriculum leadership.
