Teach musculoskeletal health and osteopathy across theory, clinical, and simulation, contributing to education, research, and clinical practice.

This role offers both part-time and full-time options, providing flexibility to suit you.

This role involves teaching theory, clinical, and simulation courses within the Bachelor of Musculoskeletal Health and the Postgraduate Diploma in Osteopathy.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of experienced educators and contribute across programmes based on their professional and academic background.

The position requires expertise in osteopathy and musculoskeletal health disciplines.

The role also includes clinical teaching responsibilities in a student clinic and contributions to both undergraduate and postgraduate education and research.

In particular we are looking for staff who are qualified and passionate about Osteopathy and who are confident in delivering osteopathic education across a wide range of topics.

The successful candidate will also be an experienced clinical practitioner who will be able to provide clinical education in our Osteopathic Clinic.

Registered Osteopath with a current New Zealand practicing certificate

A post graduate qualification preferably a PhD or master's degree in Osteopathy, education, or a related discipline

A minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered osteopath.

Clinical and educational qualifications that support supervision and teaching of general osteopathy

A broad range of clinical skills

Vision, innovation and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning.

Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.

The ability to develop and implement flexible teaching and learning methods, including the use of learning technologies

Digital literacy including - competence using a computer (including Microsoft office products)

Passionate about osteopathy and the opportunities to improve practice through supervision within the clinic, education, and research.

High degree of professional judgment and integrity

Friendly and approachable manner
