Job Title : Business Development Assistant
Salary Range : P25,000 – P35,000 GROSS PAY per month
Working hours : 4 : 00 am to 12 : 30 pm PHT
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday
Are you confident, persuasive, and great on the phone? We’re looking for a Business Development Assistant to help grow our clients’ network across New Zealand.
In this role, you’ll reach out to potential customers, screen and develop quality leads, and pass them on to various branches nationwide. You need to be confident with cold calling, handle rejection positively, and communicate with professionalism and charm. You’ll also promote the client’s services, look for ways to improve daily processes, and ensure every interaction leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential client companies within target industries.
- Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to introduce the client’s recruitment services.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for the wider sales and consultant team.
- Relationship Building
- Engage professionally with decision‑makers such as hiring managers, site supervisors, and business owners.
- Understand client staffing needs and pain points to position suitable recruitment solutions.
- Schedule meetings or introductions between potential clients and senior consultants.
- Work closely with the team to hand over qualified leads.
- Track, report, and update all outreach activity and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, objections, and opportunities.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and conversion targets.
- Test and refine outreach scripts and strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Stay informed on recruitment market trends, competitor activity, and client hiring cycles.
Key Accountabilities
Lead Generation and Pipeline GrowthConsistently achieve weekly and monthly outbound activity targets (calls, emails, LinkedIn connections, etc.).Generate a set number of qualified client leads per month to pass to consultants or branch managers.Maintain an up-to-date and accurate pipeline of prospects in the CRM.Conversion and Revenue ContributionMeet conversion targets for initial contacts, qualified meetings, and successful handovers to the sales team.Contribute to branch and company revenue growth through new client acquisition.Support client retention efforts by ensuring a smooth handover from lead generation to ongoing account management.Client and Market EngagementRepresent the client’s business professionally in all client interactions.Identify and share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.Strengthen the company’s brand presence through consistent, positive engagement with potential clients.Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with Recruitment Consultants, Account Managers, and Branch Managers to align on target industries and clients.Communicate effectively on lead progress, challenges, and opportunities.Support marketing campaigns and follow‑up activity to maximise ROI from promotional initiatives.Compliance and ReportingEnsure all client information is managed confidentially and in line with company and legal requirements.Record all outreach activity, outcomes, and lead data accurately in CRM systems.Provide regular reporting on performance metrics, successes, and improvement areas.Why Join Us?
