- We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our team, someone who is not only a recruitment expert but also a strategic thinker!As the lead recruiter, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting our talent strategy that aligns with Maritime NZ’s values, culture, and long-term vision. Reporting to the Manager Recruitment and Workforce Planning, your focus will be on building strong partnerships with our hiring managers to attract, engage, retain top talent and manage the recruitment cycle. Some of our roles are technical in nature and will require international recruitment working alongside INZ and our mobile relocation company.We’re a small team so we’re looking for someone that doesn’t mind rolling their sleeves up, at times you may be required to help with recruitment coordination while our Payroll and Workforce Coordinator is away.

- Proven experience in recruitment with a strong track record of operational recruitment and effectively managing processes and systems.
- Experience in contributing to people-related projects such as diversity initiatives, or workforce planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mind-set with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- A risk focused mind-set with excellent attention to detail.
