Lecturer Art & Design

The Lecturer Art & Design is a part-time (0.6 FTE) permanent position to join our IDEA School and Toihoukura team at EIT, based in Hawke’s Bay. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching and learning across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, inspiring ākonga through innovative curriculum delivery, and contributing to research and professional practice.

The appointing salary for this role will be on the $60,000 and $85,000 , dependent on skills and experience.

You will report to the Head of School IDEA School and Toihoukura and will be responsible for :

• Delivering high-quality instruction in design across multiple delivery modes.
• Developing lesson plans and course content aligned with programme objectives.
• Providing academic and pastoral support to ākonga.
• Contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and moderation.
• Engaging in research or creative practice relevant to design education.
