Weekend Shift – Part time (20 hours)

Sat 6.30am – 12.30pm

Sun 6.30am – 3pm

Mon 1.30pm – 8pm

Mid-Week Shift – Part time (21.5 hours)

Wed / Thurs / Fri 3pm – 8pm

Sat 9am – 4pm

Wakefield Hospital, based in the heart of Wellington, offers a wide range of high-quality private healthcare services, and Cater Plus is proud to be delivering restaurant quality food offerings to patients, as well as café options for staff and visitors.

To make this happen, we need 2xCatering Assistants who are passionate about excellent service to support our chefs in the kitchen.

What you’ll do :

• ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
• compile meal trays, deliver to patient rooms, and clear at end of service.
• ensure meals delivered comply with dietary requirements
• top up supplies and generally help to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Who You Are :

• show attention to detail.
• have good time management skills and the ability to take instruction and initiative.
• able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
• can maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment.
• an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude.
• have excellent communications skills as patient interaction is necessary in this role.
• friendly and engaging and know what it means to deliver outstanding customer service.
