PURPOSE OF THE ROLEMaintain drilling plant and equipment and undertake drilling works and associated construction activities
Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed
Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience
Must hold valid operable driving license
Must be physically fit
Must represent the company professionally at all times
Employee may be required to travel between multiple locations
Previous experience as a steel fixer would be advantageous
General Duties :
Your general duties are as follows :
1.Maintaining, managing and servicing drillingequipment.
Keep all drilling plant and equipment well maintained and in good working order.
Undertake prestart inspections and immediately report any defects to your supervisor
2. Onsite Drilling and delivery of drilling training.
Diligently undertake site works as directed by your Senior Site Supervisor or Supervisor.
Only operate plant and equipment you have been trained on and approved tooperate.
Teach others drilling basics.
3. Health and Safety
Set an example of proactive high health and safety standards and ensure others on site adhere to good health and safety practices.
4. Quality : Site paperwork and record keeping.
Ensure good site records are kept, including but not limited to H&S paperwork, drill logs, installation records, daily briefings, H&S incident reports.
5. Environmental
Ensure any actions that may impact the environment are reported to your supervisor and / or acted on quickly and in a safe manner.
Minimise waste and energy usage.
6. Quality
The quality of your work should be carried out in accordance with our quality policy.
Ensure good site records are kept, including but not limited to H&S paperwork, drill logs,installation records, daily briefings, H&S incident reports.
