About this role
We have one permanent full-time position available, based at our Auckland office, completing resourcing audits of schools and early learning services across the Auckland region.
Resourcing Auditors have delegation under the Education and Training Act
This involves some national travel and working on location in schools and licensed early learning services, as well as in the Ministry's offices.
Salary range : $85,225 - $103,071 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will need a tertiary qualification or experience working in a public sector agency, auditing experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong relationship management skills.
You will need to have the ability to travel (may include overnight).

About our group and team
Te Pae Aronui connects people, knowledge, services and regulatory processes to help shape an inclusive education system.
The Resourcing Monitoring and Assurance Team provides the Ministry with assurance that schools and licensed early learning (ECE) services have received the correct resourcing entitlement.
This involves completing resource allocation audits, special reviews and the reconciliation of resourcing and funding claims in both the school and early learning sectors.
