Role Overview

The Groundsworker reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with clients and key stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes on the grounds. Managing and maintaining the highest standards across Rodney and West Auckland's grounds and other playing surfaces will be your top priority. This role covers all facets of turf management from initial preparation to ongoing maintenance throughout the year, including achieving “match day” readiness.

What We Are Looking For

• Passionate about sports turf, physically fit with energy to burn, and self‑driven.
• Demonstrable experience of 3+ years in Turf Management with specific experience in preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and other sports playing turf.
• Formal qualification in Turf Management, ideally level 4.
• Mechanical aptitude in the use of mowers, tractors and turf‑related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with well‑planned organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Current full Drivers Licence.
