Pukekohe High School is looking for an energetic and passionate health and physical educator to join our large faculty. This is a fixed-term maternity cover, full-time position starting term 1, 28 January through to 19 July 2026.

Full-time, permanent position teaching health & physical education up to NCEA Level 3. Opportunities for leadership in this space can be discussed. Please indicate a willingness for this through the application process.
Experience to teach senior level in health and physical education would be an advantage but is not essential.
Key responsibilities
The terms and conditions for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement . The salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
