Handyman – Nagra Construction Limited

Location : Auckland, New Zealand

Position Type : Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate : $27.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering quality results.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial sites.
  • Assist with plastering, gib fixing, sanding, and patch repair tasks as needed.
  • Perform painting, minor carpentry, tiling, and fixture installations.
  • Inspect and identify repair needs, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Support the wider construction team with daily site duties and preparation work.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements :

  • Relevant experience in construction, plastering, or general maintenance work will be an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of plastering techniques and surface preparation preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are essential.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
