Middle Team Leaders (2 Positions)

OverviewEastern Hutt School is a multi-cultural, Y1-6 school in Lower Hutt and is well supported by a wonderful community and Board of Trustees.We have a very dedicated staff who work collaboratively and are extremely supportive of each other's professional learning and growth.We have a roll of 600 and we are seeking 2 team leaders in the middle team (Y3–4).

Our team leaders will be part of the wider senior leadership team and we provide professional development in leadership.

You will also be teaching either a Y3 or Y4 class.

You will need to be strongly passionate about teaching, can work collaboratively, and along with the core learning areas, create innovative learning environments that reflect our school vision : \'Inspired empowered active citizens\'.

The applicant will be appointed based on experience and any additional strengths.

Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi is essential, and kaiako with strengths in te reo Maori and tikanga, who can contribute to the cultural responsiveness in our kura are desirable.1 leadership release and 2 MU are attached to this position.Responsibilities and requirementsTeach either a Y3 or Y4 class.Collaborate as part of the middle team and wider senior leadership team.Contribute to creating innovative learning environments aligned with the school vision : \'Inspired empowered active citizens\'.
