SGS IVE is offering an exciting opportunity to join our New Plymouth team as an Apprentice Valve Technician .

This role is ideal for a recent school leaver with a passion for industrial engineering and a desire to gain a Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering .

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Learn all aspects of valve overhaul and repair, both in the workshop and on customer sites.
• Assist with valve refurbishments under supervision.
• Complete training and customer inductions to work safely and effectively on‑site.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and machinery.
• Undertake training and assessments as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Branch Manager.
