Our client is a successful electrical contractor established over 40 years ago. They have aligned themselves with a hugely successful NZ developer with a proven track record in delivering retirement communities to upmost quality. With numerous successful villages already delivered, this developer alongside their partnering contractors have their processes & systems down packed for delivering high quality desirable homes and community amenities.

About the Role

Ongoing assistance with the civil electrical phase of the new development — including trenching, conduit and cable installation — before progressing through to housing and fit-off stages. You’ll work both independently and alongside support crews from head office throughout the project.

It is expected you will deliver high-quality residential and light commercial electrical installations with the ability to work both independently and as a reliable team member on site. Your experience will ensure health & safety standards are met at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Current NZ Electrical Registration & Practising Licence (or equivalent)
• Residential and light commercial wiring experience preferred
• Fibre or data cabling experience advantageous but not essential
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised
• A proactive, reliable and safety-focused attitude
