Full time, Fixed term, Start Date : 22 / 09 / 2025, End Date : 21 / 09 / 2026 (Maternity leave, with permanent option possible)We are a small owner-operator that has been in the heart of Ellerslie since 2007.

Our home-away-from-home facility allows for children to be cared for in a relaxing environment where they build strong relationships with a small team of dedicated kaiako committed to guiding and caring for tamariki aged 2 to 5 years.As a team leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the team to deliver high-quality education and care, ensuring the well-being and development of all tamariki in your care.

You will also be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, leading by example, and inspiring with creative ideas.The role is full-time (40 hours per week) in an established and well-resourced multicultural kindergarten.

The kindergarten caters for children aged 2 to 5 years old in a mixed age setting from 8am to 5pm, including term breaks, and is licensed for 30 tamariki with a 1 : 10 teacher to child ratio.

Plus an onsite manager and teacher aide (1 : 6).
