Demographic Advisory Panel Member : Youth Advisory Panel
The demographic panels meetapproximately everysix-eightweeks, with each meeting lasting three hours.You’llalso be invited to attendadditionalcross-panel workshops and activities. On average, panel members spend around10–15 hours per monthon panel-related work,including preparation for meetings, pre-reading of draft policies and plans, and giving feedback.
In this role,you’llbring lived experience of your communities with an understanding of diverse perspective. Youwill becollaboratingwith others and sharing your experiences and perspectives to help advise Council.
Ideally, you will :
You’llneed to commit to athree-year termand be available for scheduled panel meetings and workshops (held on weekdays and / or evenings).

Panel members are paid meeting fees and reimbursed for travel expenses as per the Auckland CouncilFees Framework andExpenses Policy for Appointed Members.
