Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing :
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications for autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate software components effectively.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality.
- Support debugging, testing, and performance optimization efforts.
- Contribute to maintaining and organizing the Git repository.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve your skills.
About You
What you'll need :
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong programming skills in C++ (academic, project, or internship experience).Familiarity with software development in a Linux environment.Basic understanding of Git or similar version control systems.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.A passion for robotics, autonomous systems, and contributing to innovative technology development.Desirable but not essential : experience with Python, ROS (Robot Operating System), embedded systems, knowledge of CI / CD pipelines or automated testing, and previous internship or project experience in robotics, aerospace, or C++ software development.Compensation & Benefits
Salary range : 60,000 - 70,000 NZD per year (Tauranga).Permanent role based in Mt Maunganui, Tauranga.Start date ASAP or before the end of November 2025.How to Apply
