Gain water industry experience whilst studying

About us :

FILTEC is a specialist in end-to-end water and wastewater treatment solutions , supporting safe drinking water, industrial processes, and healthy waterways. With 30+ years of experience, we combine technology, expertise, and proven project delivery to make water safer throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Location : FILTEC Office, 102A Carbine Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland

Hours : 8 hours per week (flexible to suit your study schedule)

Student Role - Engineering Support (Water Industry)

Are you an engineering student keen to build experience in the water industry? Join our team at FILTEC , a trusted leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions across New Zealand and Australia for over 30 years.

We are looking for a motivated student who can work 8 hours per week (flexible hours, so you can fit this around your studies).

What you'll be doing :

Compiling and organising documents for O&M Manuals and Training Manuals for new water treatment plants.
Potentially write Drinking Water Standards Plans for the various projects.
Working with different stakeholders to gather and bring together various packages of information.
Learning about the water treatment industry from an experienced team.

What we're looking for :

A student currently studying engineering (civil, mechanical, environmental, or similar).

Someone who has an interest in the water industry and wants to grow their career in this space.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Confident engaging with a range of people to collect information.
