Retail Store Manager - Refined Living

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our thriving team at Refined Living in Parnell, Auckland. As our Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our busy store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits commencing mid January 2026.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training and performance management.

Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, and merchandising.

Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive customer traffic and increase revenue.

Foster a positive and engaging store environment to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Collaborate with the regional and head office teams to support the overall business objectives.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail store management role, preferably within the furniture or homewares industry. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.

Proven track record in driving sales and implementing effective merchandising and marketing strategies.

Proficient in inventory management.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
