Job description

A leading seafood company is seeking a Marine Engineer to join their deep-water fleet based in New Zealand. This Independent Contractor role features a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation, overseeing the operation and maintenance of vessel engineering systems. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal function of equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and enforcing safety protocols. Candidates should hold a MEC 5 or MEC 4 Certificate of Competency and have relevant experience in marine engineering systems. Travel costs for each swing are covered by the company.
